Med Surge Registered Nurse New

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opening for a Med Surge RN supporting Southeast Veterans Health Care Systems in New Orleans, LA.

Position Highlights:

• Full time position
• Full complement of benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid time off, and 401K)
• Any Active State license
• Provide services to ill and injured veterans
• 12 hour shifts 

Job Responsibilities:

• RNs are responsible for comprehensive patient care
• Conducting full nursing assessments
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans
• Administering medications and I
• Performing wound care, suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilator care
• Leading admissions/discharges and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
• Oversight of LPNs and CNAs
• Documenting in CPRS (Computerized Patient Record System) and using BCMA (Bar Code Medication Administration)​ 
  • Current BLS and ACLS thru the AHA
  • Minimum 18 months recent clinical experience
